I really love Julien’s work. I stumbled upon it earlier today, and looked through each of his projects. A lot of hard work goes into each of his pieces, yet they are all so incredibly simple. It’s getting me thinking about pushing my work even further. Less computerized and more hand’s on. I love all his color palettes too, they’re all so vibrant and alive. Check out his site if you get a chance.
Quipsologies is an excellent source of design inspiration that I stumbled upon the other day. It is “a division of UnderConsideration, chronicling the most curious, creative, and notable projects, stories, and events of the graphic design industry on a daily basis.” I highly recommend giving it a look.
I stumbled upon Motion Graphics today which is a site entirely devoted to.. well.. motion graphics. The quality of each video is beyond superb. Some are cute, some dark, others just mind-boggling. Whatever you’re into, chances are Motion Graphics has it. I love it. This next video is probably one of my favorite yet. It’s only the first installment of microEPIC kitty kitty series. You can see more on the website kittehkitteh.com
Apparently , the site kittehkitteh.com does not exist yet or is perhaps down at the moment, but if you’re interested I’d keep an eye out to see if there will actually be more installements.
Rawwwrrr. Monster inspiration! Tony Riff went “Beast Mode” ( as a classmate of mine so articulately puts it) on this drawing. He’s only using markers and it takes him about ten minutes to whip one of these bad boys out.
I really love how big ideas can be communicated so simply and effectively. Such is the case for this ad for Solidarités International.
Talk about mad mind explosion. Here’s some explosive graffiti. Yeah, I said it. EXPLOSIVE.
